I bought this book as one of my daughter's 2nd birthday presents. It's your typical board book except the outer cover has a little bit of a matte padding feel that's really nice. This book is also really sturdy and can take a bit of a toddler beating. The story goes perfectly in line with the actual song and it's become a staple of our nighttime sleep ritual.
I wholeheartedly recommend this book for any kids in your life. One person found this helpful. I ordered this book to use with my students during speech therapy. This is a big favorite and we had to replace for the grand baby.
The kids always think it's so funny! This book is very sturdy looking and a bit larger than most of the other board books we have in our collection which I liked--easier for me to hold and read to the baby. Illustrations are adorable and fun.

When my children were small this was a book I read to them at bedtime. Look forward to carrying on the tradition with my grandbaby. She laughs and giggles so much. The book had a good thickness to it, so it can help young children with motor skills and turning the pages on their own.
The cover and book it self itself is some what water resistant, seeing that my daughter loves to mouth everything. See all reviews. Top reviews from other countries. My grandson loves this book. It's five monkeys - some of the monkeys bouncing on the bed books have ten monkeys.
The illustrations are simple, fun and pretty. The book is hardback, which is a plus for us because he can be a bit rough with paper pages. The author also does other books with the monkeys and there is a book with all of the monkey stories in it, which I also bought.
I had to get a second copy because the first was worn out from reading it every night at bedtime. Report abuse. Fast delivery lovely book great for my 18 month old. This book is lovely. This was for my grandson and i'm sure he will love it. Very nice book but it's not strong book my daughter want to rip of the pages.
